Invite friends and family to a wildlife adventure! With live animals to see, cool things to touch and feel, and diverse trails to hike and explore, this will be a birthday party your child will surely remember!
Recommended Themes for Ages 4 to 6:
A Frogging We Will Go!
Croak like a bullfrog; peep like a spring peeper.  Kids will be hopping along with excitement on this frog expedition. Rancocas dragonfly pond and streams are the perfect place to meet these elusive amphibians.
Making Sense of Nature
Children are aware of their five senses at a young age.  Party guests will learn how animal senses are different from ours as they investigate what we see, hear, smell, touch, and taste in nature.
Themes for all Ages:
Bugs, Bugs, Bugs
Crawling through the dirt, flying through the air, insects are all around us; we just have to look for them!  Party guests will hit the trails, and may find themselves turning over logs or waving nets through the air in search of insects in each of Rancocas' habitats.
Birds of a Feather
Your own backyard is home to many different types of birds.  Learn all about birds and how to identify species you see everyday.  After we have the basics down, we will take our binoculars and see what we can find in the various Rancocas habitats and along the trails.
Mammals of Rancocas
The mammals of Rancocas Nature Center are elusive, but signs of their presence can be found along the trails. Kids will become detectives of nature on this trip as they explore the preserve for the wildlife that lives here.
Meadow Mysteries
Explore our meadow, collect colorful butterflies and bugs, and discover the plants and wildlife that live with them in this habitat.
Tri-Habitat Investigation
Butterflies fluttering in the meadow, deer sprinting through the forest, frogs hopping into the stream--we never know who we may find along our trails.  Children will explore three different habitats looking for plants and animals through an interactive hike.
Scavenger Treasure Hunt
Finding hidden treasure is always exciting. A series of riddles and clues will send party guests exploring the Rancocas trails.  Along the way, we're sure to discover why the natural world is a special place.
Scales and Tails
Is a snake really slimy? Can a turtle come out of his shell?  Find out when we investigate the scaly world of reptiles.  Party guests will have the chance to get up close and personal with these creatures as they handle our resident reptiles, learning about their unique lifestyles.  Because this program can be done indoors or out, it is a great year-round activity.
Wilderness Survival
Ever wonder if you could live out in the wild?  Learn some of the skills needed to make it in the great outdoors.
For ages 4-6 years - $155
Two hours at the Center including your choice of a one-hour program.

For ages 7 years and up - $200
Two and a half hours at the Center including your choice of one one and a half-hour program.

All parties are limited to 15 participants.
(Adults do not count as participants for children's parties.)

Rancocas Nature Center provides the program, tables, and chairs. Parents will provide plates, utensils, paper goods, food, beverages, and decorations. Parents are responsible for clean up. Rancocas Nature Center is a carry in/carry out facility. 
Birthday Parties at your home

If you are a Member, let us bring the party to you! We are available for off-site birthday parties at a rate of $250 for 1 hour at your choice of location. Speak to a staff member for more details.
