SCOUTING AMERICA MERIT BADGE: SOIL AND WATER CONSERVATION
Saturday, October 19 (Outdoor workshop) 9:30 AM to 3 PM
Sunday, November 17 (Field trip) 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM
Earn your Soil and Water Conservation Badge at the Rancocas Nature Center. Certified Merit Badge counselors will lead you through most requirements for this badge during a Day 1 outdoor workshop utilizing the Rancocas preserve and trails. Day 2 features a morning field trip to participate in an international citizen science project, a beach clean-up, and water testing along the Delaware River. Scouts will be responsible for doing requirements 3A and B, 6C, and D independently. All scouts are required to attend both dates to complete this badge. Cost: $45/per scout.
